We are looking for an experienced and driven Child Marketer to join our team, focusing on generating straight Medicare cases in the Queens, Bronx, and Brooklyn areas. This is a poaching role where significant experience in marketing Medicare cases is required, with a special emphasis on straight Medicare rather than managed care plans. The ideal candidate must bring a well-established book of business and demonstrate a proven ability to secure cases, particularly by working on-site in hospitals and leveraging their industry connections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and maintain a pipeline of straight Medicare cases by establishing and nurturing relationships with hospitals, healthcare providers, and other sources of referrals in the region.
- Focus on securing new business, specifically targeting straight Medicare clients (Medicare A & B), rather than managed care plans like Health First or Blue Cross Medicare.
- Utilize existing networks and relationships to poach business from competitors and expand our client base.
- Work directly with hospital staff and other referral sources to build rapport and convert opportunities into active Medicare cases.
- Provide consistent follow-up with potential leads, ensuring a high conversion rate from initial contact to case submission.
- Track and report all leads, cases, and progress, ensuring that goals are met or exceeded on a regular basis.
- Stay current on industry trends and changes, particularly with respect to reimbursement rates and Medicare regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a marketer for a certified home health agency, with a strong background in Medicare case generation.
- Must come with an established book of business, specifically within straight Medicare clientele.
- Proven ability to generate significant new business, particularly from hospitals and healthcare facilities.
- Experience with poaching clients from competitors is a plus.
- In-depth understanding of Medicare, with an ability to differentiate between straight Medicare and managed care plans.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a competitive, fast-paced environment.
Compensation:
- Base salary of $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and performance.
- Additional commission structure based on new business generated, with potential for significant earnings based on results.
