Salary : $150,000 per year

Powerhouse Solutions, a trusted leader in mortgage banking, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Manager to lead and enhance the efficiency of our loan operations team. In this critical role, you'll oversee a team of seven professionals, manage complex mortgage processes, and ensure seamless execution of loan operations from processing to post-closing. Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee all facets of mortgage operations, including processing, underwriting, and closing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness at every stage.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of seven operational staff members, fostering an environment of collaboration and high performance.
  • Develop and refine workflows, implementing strategic process improvements to drive efficiency and service excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with all industry regulations, internal policies, and investor guidelines to maintain the integrity of operations.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to streamline the transition and sale of closed loans to the secondary market.
  • Monitor and manage key performance indicators, addressing challenges proactively to achieve organizational goals.
  • Facilitate training and cross-training of team members to ensure operational continuity and adaptability.

Qualifications :

  • 5 years of experience in mortgage operations, with a background as an operations manager, underwriter, or processor.
  • In-depth knowledge of the mortgage industry, including loan programs, regulatory compliance, and secondary market sales.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, with a proven track record of managing and developing teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on operational efficiency and quality control.
  • Proficiency in mortgage-related software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience selling closed loans to secondary markets.
  • A history of successfully implementing operational improvements and scaling processes.
