We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to expand our footprint in the socks and hosiery market across the United States. Key Responsibilities
- Build and expand customer relationships by targeting key clients in the socks and hosiery market, including private-label buyers, major retailers, and distributors.
- Drive sales growth by developing strategies to maximize revenue within existing accounts while identifying and capturing new business opportunities.
- Leverage industry expertise to meet the specific needs of customers and deliver tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align customer needs with manufacturing capabilities.
- Travel as needed to meet with clients, attend trade shows, and stay updated on market trends.
- Provide market insights by sharing customer feedback and industry developments to inform product innovation and strategy.
Qualifications
- Experience in socks and hosiery sales with 5 years of B2B sales experience, and a strong preference for candidates already working in the socks and hosiery divisions.
- Established customer base with a proven network of contacts, particularly in private-label and major retail sectors. Must have a well-developed and active network within big-box retailers, specifically in the socks and hosiery categories.
- Candidates should have a strong history of securing placements, negotiating vendor agreements, and driving sales growth within these key retail channels. Experience working directly with buyers, category managers, and supply chain teams at major retailers is highly preferred.
- Sales expertise demonstrated by the ability to close deals, exceed sales targets, and grow key accounts.
- Strong communication skills, including presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Travel flexibility with a willingness to travel frequently to meet clients and attend industry events.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
