POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Screen Printing Operator, you will play a crucial role in our warehouse setting, contributing to the creation of high-quality customized apparel. This position centers on manual screen printing using precision and skill to produce visually appealing designs on t-shirts and sweaters. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire screen printing process, from screen creation to the final organization of finished products.
*A typical work week will be Monday-Thursday 10AM-6PM, with the possibility of adding 1 additional day*
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate screen printing equipment to produce high-quality prints on apparel
- Prepare screens by coating them with emulsion and exposing them to create stencils
- Mix and prepare inks according to color specifications
- Load and unload materials onto the printing press
- Set up and adjust printing machines for optimal performance
- Monitor print quality and make adjustments as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
- Manage the production floor and facilitate production schedule
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines
We are looking for:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-2 years experience required
- Experiance with manual screen printing press, 4 color 2/4 stand press.
- Ability to read and interpret design specifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent print quality
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Chicago, IL 60630: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
