Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our educational team in fostering a positive learning environment for students. This role is essential in assisting teachers with classroom management and providing individualized support to students.
Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities tailored to the needs of students.
- Support students in their learning by providing one-on-one or small group instruction as needed.
- Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Supervise students during classroom activities, ensuring their safety and engagement.
- Collaborate with teachers to assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social and emotional development.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members regarding student needs and progress.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with infants, daycare, or special education settings is preferred.
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when needed.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with parents, and staff.
