Description
We are looking for a Quality Interns who will gain experience working with the Quality team on multiple projects in a manufacturing environment. This is a full-time (40 hours/week) paid internship for the Summer 2025 semester and is based at Weasler Engineering in West Bend, WI.
Responsibilities:
- Quality Data Collection
- Quality KPI metrics development (internal, external DPPM, warranty claims, SCAR’s received from customers, NCMR’s, CoPQ-Scrap & Rework, audit conformance – LPA, Internal audit)
- Monitor customer portal for critical information to be included in the Quality KPI metrics
- Build quality KPI metrics dashboard
- Assist with customer complaints investigation including returned product tear downs
- Participate/facilitate cross functional team meetings to do root cause countermeasure activities
- Learn and apply 8 step problem solving/A3 methodology
- Help with Quality documentation including Quality Alerts, pertinent Work Instructions and Procedures etc.
Requirements
- Student of Junior or Senior standing, working towards a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- Ability to thrive and be part of a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Power Point) required.
- Ability to effectively interact with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong work ethics and time management experience.
- Ability to handle confidential materials with discretion and accuracy.
- Willing to be located onsite at Weasler Engineering in West Bend, WI.
