WeatherBarr Windows and Doors in Maryland Heights, MO is looking to hire a full-time Local Delivery Driver / Repair Technician Trainee .
The starting hourly rate for this position will be $20.00-$21.00, depending on experience. You would also be eligible for full-time benefits , including medical, dental, and vision insurance, vacation time, holiday pay, company paid short-term disability, company paid life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and more .
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LOCAL DELIVERY DRIVER / REPAIR TECHNICIAN
As a Delivery Driver, you do much more than just drive a truck. You are our job site representative for the entire company. Beyond loading and unloading materials and products, our Delivery Drivers must demonstrate our commitment to customer service and satisfaction, with every load, every day. With attention to detail, you accurately load products on to delivery trucks and semi-trailers, making sure the delivery load is complete and accurate.
You will train to make repairs in the field. As a Repair Technician, you'll be called on to not only make repairs in the field but also help diagnose potential problems. You are our job site representative for the entire company.
As a part of the customer relations team, you have opportunities every day to demonstrate excellent customer service skills while making local deliveries and repairs to customers (within 150 miles of our office). You take pleasure in solving problems and enjoy work under pressure and being part of a team. Teamwork at our company means participating in team decisions, maintaining good working relationships and supporting coworkers and our company goals.
Passionate about safety, you eliminate or control unsafe conditions and work practices that you have the authority to control. As a can-do person who likes to keep everything in order, you get great satisfaction out of exceeding our customer's expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A DELIVERY DRIVER
A history of excellent customer service skills, demonstrating listening skills and effective communication goes a long way in this position. Are you attentive to detail? FIRST-SHIFT WORK SCHEDULE
This is a full-time position that works the first shift from 6 : 00 am - 2 : 30 pm , Monday - Friday . Overtime as needed .
