Service/Repair Technician
WeatherBarr Windows and Doors of Springdale, AR is looking to hire a full-time Service/Repair Technician for our custom windows and doors.
Upon completing your 60 day probation you would be eligible for full-time benefits, including medical, vision, and dental insurance, vacation time, holiday pay, short-term disability, life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and more. Hourly payrate is $17.00-$18.00 per hour, depending on experience.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SERVICE/REPAIR TECH
As a Service/Repair Technician, you'll be called on to not only make repairs in the field but also help diagnose potential problems. There will also be occasional delivery work involved. You are our job site representative for the entire company. Beyond being competent with basic tools, a good driving record and attention to detail is required. Our Service/Repair Technicians must demonstrate our commitment to customer Service/Repair and satisfaction, with every job they perform. You love being physically active at work and the diversity of tasks you perform.
As a part of the customer relations team, you have opportunities every day to demonstrate excellent customer Service/Repair skills while completing your jobs. You take pleasure in solving problems and enjoy work under pressure and being part of a team. Teamwork at our company means participating in team decisions, maintaining good working relationships and supporting coworkers and our company goals.
Passionate about safety, you eliminate or control unsafe conditions and work practices that you have the authority to control. As a can-do person who likes to keep everything in order, you get great satisfaction out of exceeding our customer's expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SERVICE/REPAIR TECHNICIAN
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and understand delivery documents and follow directions for Services/Repairs
- Clean driving record
- Must be at least 21 years of age for insurance purposes
- A knack for problem solving and trouble shooting
- Ability to lift and carry 80 pounds without assistance repeatedly
A history of excellent customer Service/Repair skills, demonstrating listening skills and effective communication goes a long way in this position. Are you attentive to detail? WORK SCHEDULE
This is a full-time position that works from 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. Overtime as needed.
