ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a full-time position, typically working from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Some projects may require overtime, nights, or weekends. Job sites are located primarily in the greater Jacksonville, FL area and surrounding counties.
Each day, you step into your important role with a focus on excellence and teamwork. As a Commercial Construction Sheet Metal Mechanic - Foreman, you begin by reviewing project specifications and collaborating with project managers to set up job files. With your team, you fabricate and install sheet metal ductwork and air-side equipment, ensuring everything aligns perfectly with blueprints. Throughout the day, you supervise your crew, manage man-hour reports, and maintain communication with clients, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to safety standards. Your leadership and expertise keep the project on schedule, making a lasting impact.
The Minimum Requirements to Be Considered:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of mechanical commercial construction experience
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Safety-conscious, punctual, and detail-oriented
