Quality Systems Coordinator
Position Summary:
Responsible for overseeing and maintaining Weather Shield’s quality management system (QMS) by aiding in the development, implementation, and monitoring of procedures to ensure products, services, and processes consistently meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. Manage and maintain Weather Shield’s documents by ensuring accuracy, proper storage, revision control, distribution, and adherence to company policies. Administration duties for Weather Shields Quality Systems including but not limited to EASE, the Quality Department Freshdesk, and Quality Data Collection.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Document control within QCBD
- EASE Administration (Scheduling, Adding Users, Escalating Findings)
- Collection of In-Process and EOL Inspection Data
- Perform Data Analysis and Run Reports on Quality Data
- Schedule reviews of WIs, LPAs, and SOPs across Weather Shield.
- Freshdesk Administration
- Manage and Maintain Kudos Program
- Preparation of Training Materials
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
Requires strong Microsoft Office skills with a focus on Excel and data analytics. Ability to effectively communicate with numerous departments across the organization. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task. Must be self-sufficient with the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Able to work in a fast-paced environment to meet project deadlines. Ability to effectively train personnel.
Education: Associate’s degree in business preferred.
Experience: Prior window and door experience is a plus. The ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
Computer Experience: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), AS400, Power BI
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing duties of this job, the employee is sometimes required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, keyboards, or keypads. The employee is frequently required to talk, hear, and to reach with hands and arms. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move boxes or products of 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this includes close vision. Employee must be able to be on feet for long periods of time as needed to perform inspection duties of in-process product. Normal factory conditions that at times may include heat, cold, dust and noise.
Will work within company and customer facilities and within a vehicle and construction sites.
