About the Role
As an Occupational Therapist at our hospital, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives. You will be responsible for evaluating patients and helping them improve basic motor function and reasoning abilities, teaching them to perform tasks in their daily living and working environments, and selecting appropriate adaptive equipment and assistive devices when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and establish plans of care and treatment goals, assessing the effectiveness of treatment and modifying it as needed.
- Prepare plans for discharge and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team on patient needs, treatment modifications, and progress.
- Provide a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff, assessing risks and implementing precautions according to safety and infection control standards.
