Roles & Responsibilities
- Data Quality Assurance and Strategy
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data quality framework that’s repeatable.
- Establish data quality standards, metrics, and KPIs to monitor and ensure high-quality data across modules (e.g., Financials, SCM, HCM, Procurement, CX).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data ownership, roles, and responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
- Oversee data profiling, cleansing, validation, and enrichment efforts during data migration and ongoing operations.
- Identify data quality issues, root causes, and develop mitigation strategies in partnership with technical and functional teams.
- Lead end-to-end data quality testing during implementation phases, including SIT and UAT cycles.
- Collaborate with Oracle implementation partners to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Work closely with business process owners, functional leads, and technical teams to identify and address data quality requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all data quality-related issues and escalations.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote data quality awareness across the organization.
- Leverage Oracle tools like ODI, EDQ and others to automate and streamline DQ processes.
- Define and configure rules and workflows in data quality tools to support project and operational needs.
- Generate dashboards and reports to track and communicate data quality performance.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in IT within one or more specific technical domains; preferred domain in Data Engineering or Analytics.
- Bachelor's from an accredited university in in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4 years’ of experience with configuration and implementation of Cloud data warehousing and archiving tools in one or more cloud-based platforms
- 3 years’ experience with design and implementation of data integration platforms & ETL/ELT tools like Oracle Data Integrator, Boomi.
- Expert in at least 2 of the following: PLSQL, Python, Spark, Scala, R scripting and IDEs like Jupitar notebook.
- Must be well conversant with databases: Oracle, Sql server, ProgreSQL databases preferred.
- Works independently under the direction of the Enterprise Architecture and may supervise other report developers.
- Strong understanding of data migration strategies, tools, and methodologies.
- Expertise in data profiling, cleansing, validation, and enrichment techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP (Financials, Supply Chain, HCM) implementation projects.
- Experience with Oracle EDQ, ODI, FAW, OAC is a plus.
- Experience with design and deployment of Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Synapse Analytics services
- Recent design and implementation experience with cloud-based data analytics platform services
- Experience with data modelling
- Experience building data pipelines in the cloud & dashboards.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Data Lake Gen2 and Azure Synapse Analytics or equivalent
