Weatherford is seeking a skilled Pumping Unit Services Field Operator to join our team in Gillette, WY. In this role, you will be responsible for hands-on operation and maintenance of Artificial Lift/Pumping Unit equipment, machinery, and systems. As a valued member of our field crew, you will work under the guidance of a Field Engineer or Field Specialist to ensure efficient and effective delivery of our services.
Responsibilities
- Pre-load job with no supervision
- Rig up and rig down cranes and bucket trucks
- Repair and maintain pumping units
- Drive company vehicle to location when required
- Maintain neat housekeeping
- Understand and comply with Weatherford's Quality Policy, Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures, and Workplace Instructions
- Adhere to all safety rules and company policies
- Perform work assignments to the highest quality standards
- Carry out various other duties as assigned by the supervisor within the physical constraints of the job
- High School diploma or GED
- Clean driving record
- Ability to work at heights
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work long and/or irregular hours as required
- Pumping unit repair experience
- Basic computer skills
- 2 years of oilfield experience
