The Global Product Software Integration Director will actively manage and drive the business strategy & product development(s) for all Functional Software across the industrial value chain, aligning new products with Global Product Line strategy to customer requirements and market needs, and ensuring integration into and maintenance and rationalization of the existing product portfolio.
Roles & Responsibilities
QUALITY
- Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford's Management System
- Maintains Service Quality as an immediate priority when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement
- Active participation in the investigation and closure of all PC-1 & PC-2 issues related to your product line assuring that these are closed out in a timely manner and that they are reported to line management through the Weatherford process and policy

Oversees product line group operations to ensure service safety, quality, and efficiency, and cost-effective management of resources as per objectivesProvides technical and operational support to our teams that are located in the operating countries on an as-needed basis utilizing the WISE platform as the conduit for this supportManages global technical product development, estimates of potential profits, and commercialization of new products and servicesConducts market research to develop and maintain the Product Line marketing strategy in order to maximize our market share / new penetration in this market to improve operating incomeWorks with peers in the global team to coordinate the introduction of new technologies, taking ownership of the implementation of procedures, competency and training that are relevantForges excellent working relationships with area / country operations teams. Bachelor's degree in engineering plus 10 years of oilfield experience or equivalent5 years of experience in product management and / or business management of Industrial Software with a demonstrated history in managing complex projects and teams, with acute attention to qualityExperience in Technology across the Upstream Oil and Gas value chainStrong experience in successfully leading diverse teams in different locations, remotelyProven track record in the development and / or application of new technologyExtensive experience in a technical, product line, design, applications, or operations roleProven track record in managing international operations of the product linePREFERRED
