What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Facility Safety/HSE Specialist position at Weatherford?
The role
As an HSE Specialist, you'll coordinate and execute safety and environmental programs, in an Oil and Gas Manufacturing facility, ensuring practical and cost-effective measures are in place. You'll support the administration, interpretation, and implementation of our Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System, ensuring appropriate measures maintain an effective program aligned with our objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring ethical and compliant practices
- Prioritize health, safety, security, and environmental protection as core values
- Facilitate HSE orientations, inspections, audits, and training programs
- Investigate incidents and near misses, ensuring proper documentation
- Disseminate HSE information and collaborate with stakeholders
What we need to see from you
- You have HSE experience in a Manufacturing environment. Oil and Gas experience is a plus.
- Relevant education and certifications in Health, Safety, and Environmental Management.
- You possess strong leadership, interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- You demonstrate a working knowledge of HSE Management Systems, proficiency in using computers, and Microsoft Office applications.
