Your tasks will span the entire process, from receiving the tools, dismantling, repairing, and refurbishing them using technical manuals, procedures, and work instructions. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance while contributing to the continuous improvement of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Receive, dismantle, repair, and refurbish field tools and equipment
- Follow technical manuals, procedures, and work instructions
- Inspect tools and equipment for issues and perform necessary maintenance and repairs
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with tools and equipment
- Monitor equipment performance and conduct quality control analysis
- Prepare tools and equipment for assembly, repair, or modifications
- React effectively and efficiently in operating tools and machinery
- Visualize how tools and products will look when preparing for assembly, repair, or modifications
- 4-6 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry
- Proficiency in basic mathematics
- Knowledge of working with hazardous materials, radioactive elements, and explosives, as well as awareness of NDT, NDE, and ATEX policies and principles
- Ability to diagnose issues and problems with tools/equipment (for senior roles)
- Expertise in performing maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and monitoring of equipment
- Strong critical thinking, active learning, listening, and complex problem-solving skills
- Excellent reading, writing, judgment, and decision-making abilities to align with policies and procedures
- Effective time management skills
- Proficiency in quality control analysis to ensure products meet required standards
- Capability to meet the physical demands of the role
- Ability to anticipate potential problems and understand solutions
- Ability to react effectively and efficiently when operating tools and machinery
- Ability to visualize how tools and products will look when preparing for assembly, repair, or modifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Basic computer skills are essential.
- Certification for the use of lifting equipment, including forklift trucks and cranes (as applicable)
