Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a steadfast commitment to safety, security, and compliance, adhering to Weatherford's policies, management systems, and industry best practices
- Prioritize quality assurance, actively participating in the company's quality initiatives and continuously seeking areas for improvement
- Actively engage in daily operations and safety meetings, proactively identifying and reporting issues, and taking corrective actions
- Maintain work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition, mentoring less experienced technicians on best practices
- Perform complex repairs and troubleshooting on machines and equipment, utilizing precision measuring instruments and diagnostic tools
- Inspect used parts for wear or damage, providing recommendations for replacements or repairs, and guiding team members in inspection procedures
- Lead maintenance processes, ensuring compliance with established procedures and accurate documentation
- Safely operate tools and advanced lifting equipment for handling and moving machinery and equipment
- Demonstrate initiative in managing complex assignments and mentoring less experienced technicians to enhance team performance
- 2-4 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry as an R&M Technician, with demonstrated competence in routine repairs and maintenance tasks
- Basic Mathematics: Understanding basic mathematical concepts for measurements and equipment maintenance
- Equipment Handling and Troubleshooting: Independently performs intermediate-level maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of equipment with minimal supervision
- Critical Thinking and Problem Solving: Applies critical thinking to independently solve intermediate problems
- Advanced Reading and Writing Skills: Confidently reads and interprets technical manuals, procedures, and safety documentation. Creates detailed and accurate maintenance reports and work orders, ensuring compliance with company documentation standards
- Physical Capability and Dexterity: Continues to meet the physical demands of the role, including manual handling and operating advanced tools and machinery
- Demonstrates proficiency in the safe handling of equipment and leads by example in ensuring proper ergonomics and safety.
