What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher position at Weatherly Court?
Responsibilities:
- Wash all dishes needed to set the dining room first, then finish pots, pans, etc.
- Ensure chemicals for dishwasher and sinks are in working order, testing chemical dilution every 4 hours.
- Clean and sanitize service carts, sinks and drains and sanitize workroom appropriately.
- Sweep and mop as frequently.
- Take out all trash and cardboard after every meal.
- Temp dishwasher at beginning of shift and periodically after that. Draining water as directed and cleaning dish machine at end of the night.
- Follow kitchen cleaning schedule, completing tasks in a timely manner.
- Keep environment safe and clean.
- All other duties as assigned.
Additional Functions:
- Must be detail and team-work oriented.
- Must attend required in-services/ workshops to further education of skills and community requirements.
Qualifications:
- Must be Drug free and submit to Urinary Analysis Drug screening upon hire.
- Must be able to pass Criminal Background Check, Health Screening including TB test.
- Must be eighteen (18) years old.
- Maintain current Food Handlers Card and First Aid.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally in standard English.
- The employee shall be responsible for maintaining the integrity of Fields Senior Living.
Physical Demands and Requirements:
- Maintain ability to lift 50 pounds; to stand or walk throughout the vast majority of the workday; and to frequently push, pull, bend, twist and reach.
- Must be willing to be active and on feet during entire work shift.
- Involves light to heavy physical activity performing non-strenuous and strenuous activities.
- Must have sufficient manual dexterity to work with the fingers and to reach/hand items
