What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN (FT) AM 4 on 2 off rotating schedule position at Weatherly Inn?
Weatherly Inn is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to fill a part-time position on the pm shift in our beautiful memory care community. Hours are 6:00am - 2:30 pm and schedule will vary as needed. Must be a caring individual with a passion for caring for seniors, especially those with memory loss.
Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities:
- Coordinate resident care with nurse manager and nursing staff; chart changes in resident condition.
- Set up, dispense and document scheduled medications and treatments.
- Document vital signs and observation of behavioral, physical and mental changes.
- Process new physician orders.
- Oversee caregivers and assist as needed.
Nurse (LPN) Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: GED or High School Graduation required, College Degree preferred.
- Current Washington State nursing license required.
- Proficient in nursing, critical-thinking, documentation, leadership and supervision.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
