Specific Requirements
- Be a minimum of 18 years of age for unarmed security roles. Some assigned require you be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess courteous behavior supported by a strong moral character
- Be eligible to work in the United States.
- Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Security Officer Certified or able to be certified.
- First Aid CPR/AED required for some positions.
- Fluent in both the written and spoken English language.
Work Environment and Schedule
- Job operates in client sites which could be indoors or outdoors.
- Position requires prolonged standing and walking, in the performance of daily security activities.
- Open availability nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as directed (overtime occurs).
- Work various shifts and holidays and special events.
- Seeking Full-time, Part-Time, Casual Part-time and Season Guards all shifts
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide Entry & Egress Access Control to sites (When Applicable)
- Perform Roving Patrols of Building Interior & Exterior (when applicable)
- Verify Employees and Visitors
- Draft Incident & Daily Operating Reports
- Perform Emergency or Life Safety Duties (e.g. CPR, AED)
- Follow Proper Emergency Notification Procedures (As Necessary)
- Be Proactive Against Suspicious Activities
- Customer Service/Care – Greet, Assist & Direct or Escort Staff and Visitors when applicable
- Comply with Uniform & Appearance Standards
- Attend to all Meetings or Training Sessions (As Requested)
- Sustain and secure assigned post for the entire shift until relieved
- Maintain All Certifications and Training Standards
- Follow Lost & Found Protocols
- Recognize & Respond to Hazardous Materials/Conditions when identified
- Possess a Full Understanding & Performance of Post Orders
- Any Additional duties as assigned in Post Orders
Qualifications:
- Speak, read, and write English; bilingual is highly desirable
- Pass a Criminal Records Check, Employment Check, and Motor Vehicles Driving Records
- Pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Frequent and prolonged walking, standing, sitting, and stooping and occasional running
