WeatherTech Robotics and Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship Program

WeatherTech Direct is seeking energetic, forward-thinking maintenance and robotics technicians to join our growing organization. This Apprenticeship Program will allow you to work on robust projects with real business needs that are vital to the continued growth and success of WeatherTech Direct. You will focus on learning how our organization runs, while learning the ins-and-outs of our daily routines and procedures.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE:

• A formal mentor in your area of focus
• Hands-on training in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in either the maintenance or robotics field
• A flexible schedule to complete both training and course work

• A full-time position starting at $20 /hour with increases upon completion of various stages of the program

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Work with an assigned mentor and professionals across the organization to gain direct and relevant experience in your area of focus
• Cross train in other areas with similar equipment, and in areas that immediately precede and follow the operations you are responsible for 
• Perform all job functions in compliance with safety guidelines and company policies/procedures
• Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition, clean and maintain equipment
• Work weekends and overtime, as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be over 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Basic math, measuring, and computer skills required
• Must be able to read, write, and understand verbal and written work orders/instructions in English
• Enrolled in a trade school or college working toward gaining a certificate of completion and/or associates degree in Industrial Maintenance or Automated Controls and Robotics
• Team player with a good attitude and strong work ethic; must be dependable with excellent attendance 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and with minimal supervision with ability to problem solve
