Machinist - 2nd Shift
WeatherTech Direct is seeking a well-qualified Machinist who specializes in fabricating custom injection mold bases.

Hourly rate starts at $25/hour or more based on skill set.
As a Machinist, you will
- Fabricate custom injection mold bases using Haas CNC machines
- Use CNC machines, manual machines, and other hand and power tools to repair and update mold tools
- Perform all assigned machine shop operations needed to make mold tools that meet precise specifications
- Make adjustments to machines to control speed, material feed and path of the cut, as well as make sure machines are set up properly, working well, and producing quality products
- Confirm machines are working at full capacity, are stocked with needed materials, and are well-maintained as well as perform periodic checks on output
- Follow company safety rules and keep designated work area in a clean and orderly condition
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience operating CNC machines in a tooling/machine shop environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Apprenticeship or certification/associate’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience building custom injection mold bases
- Experience using Haas CNC machines
- Familiar with a variety of CNC machines, manual machines, and hand/power tools
- Mechanically inclined and should understand basic math
- Experience using CAM and NX CAM Software a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Authorized to work in the United States
