Sandblaster Booth Technician
WeatherTech Direct is seeking a qualified Sandblaster Booth Technician to blast parts with a hose, removing imperfections to a certain surface finish. $25/hour.

As a Sandblaster Booth Technician, you will
- Set up and operate a blast booth
- Load and unload the blast cabinet
- Produce consistent and quality finish according to specification
- Use CNC machines, manual machines, and other hand and power tools to repair and update mold tools
- Maintain Tool Shop parts inventory, keeping all required materials in stock.
- Perform preventive maintenance on machines and tools, escalating any problems to the appropriate personnel for resolution
- Provide support and knowledge to other Machinists and Apprentices as needed
- Perform all job functions in compliance with safety guidelines and company policies/procedures
- Keep work area clean and orderly, and ensure any unsafe working conditions are corrected or reported immediately
- Work a full-time schedule; work overtime as business demands including extended hours and/or weekends
- Clean and maintain equipment
- Communicate clearly and work as part of a team
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous sandblasting or similar experience preferred
- Must be able to read and interpret manufacturers and engineers instructions
- Working knowledge of manual hand tools
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong mechanical aptitude with basic math skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic math skills
