As a core member of our Analytics team, you'll design and optimize robust data models that drive critical insights across departments, ensuring our data is structured in a way that's intuitive and accessible for end users.
In this role, you'll work at the intersection of analytics, data engineering, and business strategy, partnering with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to build high-quality data models tailored to Weave's needs. What You Will Own (Responsibilities)
Data Model Development & Optimization : Develop and refine data models to provide accurate, reliable data for analytics, data science, and reporting purposes. Design and build data transformation pipelines, dimensional models, data marts and data aggregation layers in dbt.Collaborative Partnership : Work closely with data scientists, data engineers, and analysts to build models that address technical and business requirements. Build trust and confidence in the data that you and your team will transform / produce.Enable Self-Serve Analytics : Improve documentation and organize data to empower team members across the organization to independently access and leverage data. Contribute in building data warehousing and data modeling strategy and roadmap.Partnership with Business Leaders : Provide subject matter expertise making recommendations on project scope, architecture, deliverables, acceptance, and deployment. Translate complex business questions and requirements into accessible data structures that can be leveraged to drive analytics and decision-makingInsight-Driven Support : Assist analysts as they explore and draw insights from data, facilitating actionable findings through a well-structured data framework.What You Will Need to Accomplish the Job
3 years in an analytics engineer, data engineer, or similar role, with a proven track record of successful data modeling and data warehouse management.Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, data warehouse structures, and query optimization. Experience with dbt and Snowflake is a plus.Creative problem solver who thrives in a collaborative environment, working cross-functionally to design solutions that meet business and technical needs.Skilled at organizing, documenting, and structuring data for self-service, with a focus on making data accessible and understandable for all.Quick to adapt to evolving requirements, with a drive to continuously improve and expand their scope of impact.What Will Make Us Love You
