What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Analyst Intern position at Weave?

As an HR Intern at Weave, you will gain hands-on experience in HR operations, Data Analytics and process improvement. This role involves conducting process audits, supporting compliance and policy research, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on impactful HR initiatives.
- This position will be hybrid based out of our Lehi, UT HQ.

What You Will Own
Project Collaboration & Management
- Assist with branding projects related to employer branding, hiring branding, and employee experience.
- Manage policy review and consolidation, ensuring compliance and consistency.
- Audit and review of Intranet pages to maintain accurate and updated HR documentation.
- Support exit and stay interviews and analyze key findings to inform HR strategies.
- Assist in Learning & Development (L&D) training initiatives and implementation.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Conduct in-depth analysis of HR data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Assist with engagement survey analysis.
- Support the development of dashboards and reporting, focusing on candidate quality, hiring audits, and key recruitment metrics.
- Analyze retention, stay and exit interviews, and their impact on employee retention.
- Conduct compensation analysis in relation to attrition and other trends.
Compliance & Audit Support
- Participate in HR audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance with policies and regulations.
- Research state employment laws and availability for compliance projects.
- Conduct hiring audits, including reviews of pay transparency laws and required documentation.
- Support policy updates, compliance initiatives, and general HR risk assessments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with various departments to gather data and insights for HR projects.
- Collaborate with HRBPs to review data and create a structured audit process.
- Assist with Projects to review their impact on attrition, engagement, and compensation.
What You Will Need to Accomplish the Job
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and other data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
