Weave’s Corporate Strategy Team works closely with C-Team & VP leadership to identify ways to move the business forward & oversees major cross-functional initiatives at the company. The Strategy team focuses on 4 key areas: (1) Develop Weave’s Strategic Plan, (2) Identify & Launch into New Markets, (3) Run “BizOps” efforts focused on improving internal operations, (4) M&A.

- Reports to: Strategy Manager
- Timeline: The internship will run from May 12th - August 22nd 2025 (with the opportunity to extend beyond into the fall months, based on performance)
- This role will be based in our HQ office in Lehi, UT
- This position will be hybrid (remote in-office)
- (1) Define Weave’s Strategic Plan
- Help define Weave’s GTM strategy
- Build response plans for specific competitors
- Analysis of Weave’s strategic position (ex: using SWOT or other strategy frameworks)
- (2) Identify & Launch into New Markets
- Identify new markets, conduct initial research and help align resources across Weave to launch new into new industries and/or international expansions
- Develop Weave’s New Market launch playbook (execution plan)
- (3) Run “BizOps” / Internal Operation Improvement Efforts
- Analyze internal business practices with the goal of determining bottle-necks to providing effective operations. Provide executive-level recommendations on how we can improve & optimize
- (4) M&A
- Perform due diligence on potential merger & acquisition targets
- Student in Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in technical or quantitative major
- Prior experience in management consulting, investment banking, finance, or corporate strategy (preferred, but not required)
- Strong analytical skills. Should possess familiarity with common data tools (Excel, Domo/Tableau, SQL, Snowflake, etc…). Has the ability to make complex data “simple & insightful” for others.
- Comfortable building executive quality PowerPoint & “1-page memos” to deliver analysis & recommendations. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- SaaS experience (preferred but not required)
- Experience with financial modeling (preferred but not required)
- Strong “executive presence”. Ability to prepare and deliver persuasive, data-driven arguments and presentations to senior management (including VP & C-Team levels).
- “What’s Best for Weave” mindset. Candidates need to be skilled in navigating competing interests from various stakeholders and diplomatically resolving issues.
- Team Player. Our strategy team is small & operates with a high degree of trust. Must be able to work well independently or as part of a team.
- Extremely comfortable with ambiguity. Frequently works on solving issues with no known solutions or prior examples. Able to break complex problems down into manageable parts.
- Hyper organized. Strong project management and organizational habits & skill-set
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team, and under both strict and changing deadlines
