About these roles : First, we'll start with details that apply to all 3 roles, and then we'll get into the nitty-gritty on each one.
For all roles :
- Location : Hybrid onsite Tues-Thurs in NYC
- Portfolio required
- Player / coach" roles - all will require some degree of hands on design skill in Figma, while managing agency vendors and freelancers, driving initiatives with key stakeholders, etc.
- Involves managing design agencies and / or contractors, and is less likely to manage an internal direct report, at least for now

- Preferred backgrounds :
- Ideally 10 years of relevant design experience, with both B2B and B2C experience
- InsureTech, financial services, healthcare and other highly regulated spaces
- They're also open to agency-side folks who have significantly worked in these sorts of companies
- You have led design at scale (ie : Ms of users, ideally)
- This level may be the equivalent of a Lead, Staff, Art Director, Associate Creative Director, or Design Director at other companies
- Strong knowledge of accessibility guidelines is highly useful
- Salary : $180,000 - $230,000 all in pay (which includes base bonus)
