Our Yard Jockey and Heavy Forklift Operator must be energetic, extremely reliable and have a strong work ethic with safety for self and coworkers being a priority. Job duties include, but are not limited to, operation of manual transmission tractors and heavy forklifts to load and move trailers safely within the yard areas and prepare our loading dock for strip and load processes. Start time is currently 3:00am** and may flex based on operational needs. (**Note, a start time of 3am or earlier includes an additional $1 per hour for the shift differential.)

All Yard Jockey & Heavy Forklift Operators must be able to:

• Work OT;
• Move/lift 100 lbs. on occasion and 50 lbs. frequently;
• Operate semi-truck (manual transmission) with loaded or empty trailers within the yard areas;
• Operate heavy forklift to move/load empty and loaded A-frames;
• Walk, bend, crouch, crawl, and climb (including ladders) frequently;
• Perform all job functions outdoors in all of the weather elements through all seasons;
• Have a high awareness of safety for themselves and others;
• Work independently and as part of a team;
• Report to work on time every day. Reliable transportation to work on a daily basis is a MUST!

The right candidate will have experience w/ driving, backing, and parking a semi-truck (manual transmission) with trailer (loaded and empty) in tight spaces with uneven pavement areas and have heavy forklift operation experience. CDL A driver’s license and/or forklift operator certification is preferred but not required.

Weaver Superior Walls, LLC is a safety oriented and drug free workplace. This is a safety sensitive position involving the use of power tools and heavy equipment. Pay range is $20 to $24; however, we are open to discussing pay based on previous experience for the right candidate! Night Shift work hours include an additional $1 per hour.
