Position Profile
Weaver is seeking a Payment Card Industry (PCI) Services Associate to join our growing firm. This position is responsible for performing assessment procedures as assigned, and may work on concurrent engagements. They work closely with Senior Associates and Managers to identify and resolve issues encountered in performance of PCI assessments. They also develop effective and clear work paper techniques and assist with PCI report preparation, as well as develop a plan of their own professional development with their group leader.

The ideal candidate is a team player who exhibits initiative, accepts responsibility, communicates effectively, and manages multiple concurrent assignments of varying sizes and complexity.

To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management/Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 0 - 2 years experience in IT audit, compliance, or consulting
- Thorough understanding of general IT security practices, including firewalls, logging, intrusion detection/prevention, anti-malware, and vulnerability management.
- Basic understanding of cloud computing technologies
- Basic understanding of containerization technologies
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Master’s degree or further education in information systems or cybersecurity is preferred
- CISA, PCIP, Security and/or related certifications are preferred
- Cloud Service Provider Architect certifications a plus
- Exposure to payment card industry regulations
- IT and security research skills
