Position Profile
Weaver is looking for a Payroll Coordinator to join our Finance team. The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for payroll processing for designated segments of the employee population including the calculation of pay and deductions. They will use an outsourced payroll provider to issue payroll checks, processes check requests and submit ACH payments and wires for manual payroll checks and various payroll related payments. This opportunity requires 3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be professional and have strong communication skills as they will be responsible for inquiries from department personnel and employees. Our Finance team is friendly, fun and innovated!
To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:
- 3 to 5 years of related experience in a computerized accounting environment within a payroll function
- Knowledge of wage withholding orders and garnishments
- Multi-state payroll processing and reporting
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Knowledge and understanding of accounting theory principles and practices as they relate to financial accounting and payroll functions
- Strong experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience with HR/Payroll and ERP software. UltiPro experience a plus
Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Associates Degree
- Experience working in an accounting firm or professional services firm

Annual Base Pay Range for Texas: $55,000 - $65,000
