Arcturus Therapeutics is seeking an innovative and highly motivated Immunologist to join our Translational Biology team. Our successful candidate will help build a new class of chimeric antigen receptor expressing cells based on Arcturus’s proprietary Lipid Nano Particle (LNP) nucleic acid delivery platform and must have strong expertise in cellular immunology, effector cell biology and tumor immunology.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading immunotherapy and oncology projects and identifying and interrogating immunomodulatory target pathways using cutting-edge technologies and novel approaches to enrich our company pipeline. You will be responsible for developing a CAR-based immunotherapy program as well as supporting existing immunology-based programs including cancer vaccines.
Our successful candidatewill thrive in a proactive, fast-paced ‘can-do’ culture and enjoy collaborating across the full range of development activities and project teams for the ground-breaking, RNA-based new drug candidates. Our candidate should have extensive laboratory research experience and a desire to continue in a laboratory-focused role with a high level of experimental vigor and quality. Prior experience with generating and assaying CAR-T cells both in vitro and in vivo, rodent tumor models, cellular immunology, particularly T lymphocyte biology and cancer immunology is strongly preferred.
