POSITION:
Returns Warehouse Associate - This position is responsible for receiving, opening, inspecting, repacking, and processing all customer returns, then sorting & stacking pallets of returned inventory for shipment back to various outbound warehouse locations and/or vendors.
Warehouse experience is preferred, but we will train the right person. We are looking for a hardworking individual with a desire to learn and grow within our company.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have an understanding of the English language, both written and verbal, and must be able to communicate and understand English during the interview process
- Must be dependable, punctual, and have reliable transportation!
- Must be a hardworking and productive individual with a positive attitude and desire to learn
- Ability to regularly lift and/or carry objects weighing 50 lbs; occasionally lift up to 75lbs
- Ability to perform regular and/or repetitive physical movements including lifting, bending, stooping, twisting, pushing, pulling, reaching, lifting, and/or extended walking & standing for entire shift of 8 hours or more, as required
- Ability to perform physical tasks in a warm environment
- Ability to safely operate small hand tools (i.e. tape gun, box cutter, pallet wrap, scan gun, etc.)
- Ability to learn to safely use warehouse moving equipment (i.e. pallet jack, fork lift, pallet wrapping machine, etc.)
- Ability to work a regular shift between 7:00am – 4:00 pm or 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday – Friday (training will be 8am- 5pm Monday - Friday)
- Ability to effectively, prioritize, multi-task, and juggle multiple priorities to ensure that all deadlines are met daily
- Ability to quickly learn and carry out new processes
- Ability to learn new programs and utilize company computer systems effectively; Ability to use multiple computer systems concurrently
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to accurately count and perform basic math
- Ability to sort and track returns to ensure they are shipped back to the correct location(s)
- Ability to organize and effectively utilize limited space
- Ability to accurately document and photograph returns which have been damaged, installed, used, wrong item sent, etc.
- Ability to track large amounts of inventory and coordinate with multiple shipping companies to ensure all returns are shipped to the correct warehouse
- Should be reliable and a pleasant person to work with!
- An interest in Jeeps, Trucks, Aftermarket Upgrades, Motorcycles, Jet skis, or RVs is a plus, but not required!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Arrive on time and prepared to work
- Check-in and inspect all returns received on a daily basis
- Use a scan gun for barcoding, scanning, labels, package check-in, pallet assignment, etc.
- Use computer systems to look up information, input data, and communicate with co-workers and vendors
- Sort and label all returns to ensure they are returned to the correct outbound warehouse
- Photograph & accurately document all denied returns
- Organize and track large quantities of packages in a limited space
- Stack and move large pallets using pallet jacks and/or fork lift
- Wrap and safely secure pallets prior to transport
- Load & unload large packages and/or pallets using pallet jacks and/or fork lift
- Assume responsibility and take ownership of the returns warehouse
- Maintain the warehouse in an orderly and clean state
- Communicate with Customer Service to ensure that all customers are refunded in a timely manner as per company guidelines
- Investigate discrepancies and/or customer return issues using multiple computer systems, websites, and email accounts
- Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed
- Identify and recommend areas of improvement

This is a warehouse position, applicants should be able and prepared to perform repeated physical tasks in a warm environment.
