At WebAI, we're scaling rapidly and need a Staff Software Engineer - Runtime Lead who is passionate about building high-performance, distributed systems. If you've worked at scale - supporting millions of users, optimizing requests per second in real time, and enabling company growth from 50 to 200 employees - we want you to help shape our future.
What You'll Be Doing :
- As a key technical lead you'll design and implement systems for both local air-gapped systems as well as customer distributed deployments. You'll be driving new features through robust backwards compatible updates that impact all of webAI's customers and products.
- You'll participate in our budding knowledge, architecture, processes and systems, contributing your experience and intuition to raise the bar for the engineering org while making technical choices accessible to product owners.
- All of this work will directly influence the company's ability to deliver AI-powered products and services. You will have ownership in a critical area that shapes the future of the company.
