Our Business Area Roof is the global market leader for sunroofs, panoramic roofs, and convertible roofs, offering roof solutions with true added value. As roof specialists, we also provide customized and innovative solutions that meet the highest quality standards for electric mobility, the future of autonomous driving, and the use of solar energy.
You can look forward to these exciting tasks:
- Oversee the procurement of goods and services to support various business processes, ensuring materials and components are sourced efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Lead finished goods demand inventory planning, production planning, and controlling to meet targets for quality, reduce wastage, and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Manage the movement, storage, and inventory control of raw materials, finished goods, tools, and packaging materials, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Supervise the transportation of materials and finished goods from origin to destination, optimizing logistics for cost efficiency and timely deliveries.
- Manage all aspects of imports, exports, and customs clearance, ensuring compliance with relevant international regulations and standards.
- Oversee freight forwarding services and maritime operations, ensuring that goods are transported in a cost-effective and timely manner.
- Leverage SAP experience for SCM management, optimizing supply chain processes and ensuring data accuracy across all stages of procurement, inventory, and logistics management.
- Bring Tier 1 automotive experience or OEM experience to the table, ensuring that all supply chain processes are aligned with industry standards and the specific needs of the automotive sector.
- Utilize experience or knowledge of working with union organizations to navigate labor agreements and ensure smooth, compliant operations in facilities with unionized workforces.
Here’s what you can bring to the team:
- University degree in Business Studies, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Approximately 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the automotive or manufacturing sector.
- In-depth knowledge of inventory management, production planning, and logistics processes.
- SAP experience in SCM management for optimizing supply chain functions and improving operational efficiency.
- Experience managing the import, export, and customs procedures, including compliance with international trade regulations.
- Proven expertise in freight forwarding services and managing maritime operations.
- Tier 1 automotive or OEM experience, with a deep understanding of the unique supply chain needs and challenges in the automotive sector.
- Experience or knowledge of working with union organizations, including familiarity with labor agreements and ensuring a compliant and collaborative work environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and work with external partners.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
