In the Commercial Lines Account Manager position, you will:
- Be a key team member in the Commercial Lines Department including educating our current clients and attracting new ones
- Provide proposals for agency producers
- Ability to quote with top rated carriers in the industry such as Auto Owners, Liberty Mutual, The Hartford, West Bend
- Maintain knowledge of products and markets
- Focus on retention and grow sales by cross selling and rounding out accounts in existing book of business.
- Service existing clients in person, email, or via telephone by preparing renewals and remarketing accounts, processing claims and changes
- Quote and issue new policies
Required Competencies:
This candidate must be able to work independently, possess exceptional attention to detail, be able to adapt well to new processes & procedures, possess organization skills to manage numerous, varied, detailed tasks and handle pressure effectively.
Applicant must be articulate and friendly, demonstrate professional appearance and have a strong work ethic.
- Must have knowledge of commercial lines insurance coverages and products.
- Familiarity with the operations of an Independent Insurance Agency
- Previous insurance experience required
- Must be customer service oriented
- Ability to accurately process multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
- Ability to communicate with others on complex issues, receive and interpret complex information and respond appropriately
- Must have computer skills and knowledge of agency management systems such as Partners XE and office software programs
Required:
- Commercial Insurance Experience: 2 years in Independent Agency
- MO P&C License
