We are looking for a detail-oriented warehouse associate who is thorough in all aspects of the position-- whether it be loading and unloading equipment, inspecting received goods, picking orders, or organizing and performing general warehouse duties. Reporting to the warehouse manager, your reliability is a given, and you thrive in an environment where you act independently with minimal oversight.
Webb Supply is a well-recognized name in the HVAC Equipment and Supply business with 6 locations in Cleveland, Elyria, Akron, Ashtabula and Youngstown. For over 50 years Webb Supply has grown to become one of the leading local providers of heating, air conditioning and plumbing products, selling to HVAC contractors as well as other unique accounts across Northeast Ohio.

Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
· Receives material coming into the building by vendors, customers, or other warehouses accurately and promptly.
· Verifies the quantity and description of materials received by checking merchandise against the packing list.
· Examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items. Appropriately report/record any discrepancies.
· Accurately place materials on shelves, in racks or other designated storage areas in an orderly manner.
· Attaches identifying tag or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.
· Assembles and fills orders to be shipped to customers.
· Preparation of all shipping documentation.
· Review all orders to determine if they were picked correctly.
· Ensure warehouse/equipment is maintained on a regular basis.
· Safely operate all the necessary equipment in work area.
· Accurately identify and count stock materials as listed on the cycle count list.
· Perform periodic cycle counts to confirm inventory accuracy
Requirements:
- Be able to identify product by size, type, style, color or product code.
- Solid reading skills – must be able to read orders/match orders on shipping tickets to items picked.
- Forklift experience a must
- Good math skills
- Working computer knowledge with the ability to learn our software system.
- Ability to understand and execute instructions.
- General understanding of the warehouse procedures.
- Operate inventory control equipment, i.e., bar-coding equipment, handheld devices.
- Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
