As the Product Manager, you will play a vital role in managing relationships with hotel partners, optimizing rates and availability, and driving competitiveness across a designated geographical area. Reporting to the Regional Director, Sourcing, you will act as a key player in ensuring smooth operations and delivering exceptional value to partners. This dynamic role will allow you to work across teams, build relationships, and contribute to the company’s strategic sourcing goals.
In this role you will:
As the Product Manager, you will oversee the operational and strategic management of hotel partnerships within a specific geographical area. You will negotiate rates and availability, manage stop sales and special offers, and ensure that our product portfolio remains competitive. By collaborating with internal teams and leveraging industry knowledge, you will play a crucial role in meeting the needs of the business and fostering long-term success.
Key Responsibilities.
- Build and maintain direct relationships with hotel partners to ensure optimal availability and rates.
- Monitor and manage contractual hotel allocations, last-minute availability, and stop sales.
- Collaborate with hotels and contracting managers to secure special offers and promotions.
- Evaluate production data to determine appropriate follow-up actions.
- Conduct regular price comparisons to maintain competitiveness in the market.
- Train hotel partners on supplier interfaces to enhance efficiency and usage.
- Assist in mapping and activating BAR contracts, ensuring seamless execution with relevant teams.
- Analyse and recover 3P bookings to DC based on departmental guidelines.
- Provide support to contracting managers during business trips or urgent tasks.
- Manage queries from suppliers and facilitate communication with internal teams, including accounts, reservations, and customer care.
- Input extra availability into the system and support exceptional contract loading when required.
