As the Regional Product Manager, East Coast and Canada, you will play a critical role in driving strategic initiatives, building hotel partnerships, and leading a team of Product Managers to achieve key business objectives. Reporting to the Regional Director, East Coast and Canada, you will oversee contracting and revenue growth in one of WebBeds’ key regions. This leadership role is pivotal in aligning team efforts, negotiating agreements, and optimizing rates and availability to ensure competitive market positioning.

As the Regional Product Manager, East Coast and Canada, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with hotel suppliers, negotiating optimal rates and availability, and coaching a team to deliver exceptional results. By analyzing market trends and fostering partnerships, you will ensure that WebBeds remains competitive and aligned with its strategic goals. You will also play a key role in addressing operational challenges, solving competitiveness issues, and collaborating across departments to achieve success.
Key Responsibilities.
- Lead and develop a team of Product Managers, providing coaching and guidance to ensure performance aligns with business objectives.
- Develop and execute regional contracting strategies in collaboration with the Regional Director and management team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hotel partners to drive revenue growth.
- Participate in key hotelier meetings, negotiating terms and conditions on behalf of the company.
- Analyze market trends to identify new opportunities for revenue generation and ensure competitiveness.
- Monitor team progress, address operational challenges, and resolve supplier-related issues.
- Conduct frequent contracting trips to maintain supplier relationships and achieve targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, operations, IT, and finance to resolve contracting-related issues.
- Represent the region at internal meetings and trade shows, fostering relationships with industry stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate data entry and verification of hotel contracts within the company’s systems.
- Communicate professionally with suppliers and internal teams, adhering to corporate guidelines.

- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven experience in contracting within the travel industry, with established relationships in the East Coast and Canadian markets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with a track record of coaching and developing teams.
- Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with cultural versatility and empathy.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities.
- Detail-oriented and highly accurate with a focus on delivering results.
- Adaptable, proactive, and solution-focused, with the ability to innovate and think critically.
- Experience with CRM tools and extranets, as well as a strong understanding of channel managers and XML connectivity.
- Multilingual capabilities, with French-Canadian proficiency as a plus.
- Previous management experience in a contracting or sourcing role.
