Position Summary
The incumbent is responsible for maintaining contracted per standards and conditions specified in the contract.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Operate vehicles and equipment as required: Forklift, Man lift, Scissor lift
Must demonstrate the ability to comprehend and recognize all job related work permits and complete Job Hazard Analysis.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must be able to troubleshoot and solve problems.
Must be able to maintain communications with supervisor of job status and current assigned responsibilities.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to work independently
Ability to work under minimal supervision
Ability to adhere to confidentiality agreement
Education and Experience
High School Diploma
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in construction, maintenance or turnaround, with at least 2 years in the oil and gas industry
Certified to operate required equipment
Work Conditions
Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
Constantly positions self to maintain/use a variety of equipment
Ascends/Descends a ladder or scaffolds frequently
Frequently lifts equipment weighing up to 60lbs.
Enters confined spaces.
Perform work wearing personnel protective equipment. Including but not limited to the following: rain gear, chemical protective clothing, supplied air and air purifying respirators, safety harness, Nomex coveralls, hard hat, ear plugs and safety glasses.
Able to work long hours and all shift schedules that may be up to seven days a week for extended duration’s of up to 8 weeks or more.
