Job Overview:

The Maintenance Technician-Facilities plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. This position requires a unique blend of technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Assess and address potential safety hazards, collaborating with colleagues and supervisors to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Operate a range of specialized equipment, including aerial lifts, scissor lifts, and bucket trucks.
  • Participate in emergency response rotations, providing support during critical situations.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and clients to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, attending training sessions and workshops as necessary.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum two years of experience in maintenance and repair, preferably in an industrial/commercial setting.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights using aerial lifts, scissor lifts, and bucket trucks.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work variable shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
