Hitch Installer

• Install Fifth Wheel Hitches: Install and maintain fifth wheel hitches for safe and secure towing.
• Weight Distribution Hitches: Install and service weight distribution hitches to ensure proper load distribution and towing stability.
• Brake Controllers: Install and calibrate brake controllers for towing vehicles.
• Flat Tow Setups: Install and configure flat tow setups, including baseplates, wiring, and tow bars.
• Wiring: Set up and repair 7-way plugs and 4-flat wiring for various RV and trailer configurations.
• Truck Camper Setup: Prepare and install torklifts and accessories to set up trucks for truck campers.
• Customer Service: Advise customers on hitch options, safety requirements, and maintenance for optimal towing performance.
• Safety Checks: Perform routine inspections of installed hitches and towing equipment to ensure safety and compliance with standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other service team members to meet deadlines and provide high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations of automotive parts and systems according to specifications and safety standards.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify areas requiring repair or enhancement.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Assist in vehicle maintenance tasks, including routine checks and repairs as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any questions or concerns regarding installations or repairs.

Experience

• Proven experience is required with your own tools.
• Familiarity with mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate both hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Experience with heavy lifting is essential as the role may require moving large hitch parts.
• A background as a mechanic or in automotive service will be advantageous for this position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
