Weber Human Services (WHS), located in Ogden, Utah serves a growing urban population residing in Weber and Morgan Counties.

This position will be located within the WCSO Therapeutic Community Program (RISE) at the county jail. The clinical position is part of the overall RISE team consisting of clinical and corrections staff. The RISE program is a substance use treatment program based in therapeutic community jail setting. Clinical responsibilities include conducting clinical assessments, co-facilitating clinical groups, providing individual counseling, providing crisis work as needed, coordinating with RISE and reentry case managers, and attending clinical supervision as well as team meetings.
You must hold a current Utah license as a CSW / LCSW, ACMHC / CMHC, or AMFT / LMFT in good standing. Must maintain license by meeting all requirements of licensure including obtaining requisite CEU's.
This position may be under filled with a CSW, ACMHC or AMFT on an interim basis at a wage DOE. Following requirements : 1) Master's degree in social work or related field, 2) approved by DOPL as a trainee (intern) in social work, and 3) MUST commit to obtaining full license within 2 years from date of hire, with probationary period continuing for this 2-year period. Experience working within a jail environment preferred.
