Elementary Administrative Position(s)
Position(s) have been declared open in the Weber School District for Elementary Principal positions that may come open for the 2023-2024 school year.

Qualifications:
- Consistently aids in implementing effective instructional practices, monitors academic achievement of students on a regular basis, and observes teachers to ensure goals are consistent with school, district, and state guidelines.
- Supervises the school's educational program.
- Supervises all professional, paraprofessional, administrative, and staff attached to the school.
- Supervises the school's teaching and learning process.
- Evaluates and coaches all staff members regarding their individual and group performance.
- Conducts staff meetings as needed for the proper functioning of the school.
- Works harmoniously with staff, students, and community, modeling professional behavior; conveying high expectations for the school community, resolving conflicts fairly, and pursuing a plan of self-development.
- Keeps abreast of changes and developments in the profession by attending professional development, reading professional journals and other publications, and discussing problems of mutual interest with others in the field.
- Understands and communicates effectively with all segments of the school community by interpreting school and district programs, regularly sponsoring joint activities, and marketing a positive image of the school/district.
- Serves with PTA, parents, faculty, and student groups in advancing educational and related activities and objectives.
- Manages available funds following the district-approved fiscal management system for all accounts, developing and implementing systematic business procedures that provide for effective department and school budgets as well as up-to-date school inventories.
- Promotes productivity with staff, students, and patrons using a warm, friendly, and empathetic attitude, providing a clean, attractive, and orderly environment that recognizes student achievement and staff excellence.
- Is visible in the school environment, observing and responding to all situations, solving problems before they become critical, and using a wide variety of techniques and skills to resolve student problems.
- Attends special events held to recognize student achievement and attends school-sponsored activities, functions, and athletic events.
- Supervises and evaluates the school's extracurricular program.
- Supervises and assists on the playground, at athletic competitions, field day activities, etc.
- Assumes responsibility for the safety and administration of the school plant and grounds.
- Consistently shares through in-service, evaluation, conferences, etc., the knowledge, leadership, and skill to implement a curricular program that ensures mastery by students.
- Consistently evaluates to develop professional growth of the staff.
- Interprets and enforces school, district, and state policies and administrative regulations.
- Possesses problem-solving skills.
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with students, school, staff, district staff, and patrons.
- Communicates effectively.
- Has knowledge of Utah State Core Curriculum.
- Must hold a current Utah Administrative/Supervisory License INCLUDING PASSING THE PRAXIS TEST.
- Must have at least three years of successful teaching experience.
- Previous educational administrative experience is required.
Salary : $78,400 - $99,300
