At Weber Specialties Company, we are looking for a highly skilled Grinding and Cleaning Technician to join our team. The Grinding and Cleaning Technician will be responsible for preparing metal surfaces for finishing processes by grinding and cleaning them using pneumatic/electric grinding equipment.
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare metal surfaces for finishing processes by grinding and cleaning them using pneumatic/electric grinding equipment.
- Use Surfox weld cleaning system to reintroduce chromium into sanded/polished material.
- Comply with all safety procedures per Company Safety Manual and utilize job safety devices.
- Accurately complete all shop floor paperwork including production release and product identification and electronic time sheet.
- Communicate with material handler and Lead as necessary to ensure availability of proper materials to do job.
