Job Summary / Basic Function
Duties and functions of this position include the following :
- Provide career counseling, employment advising, assessment, and career-readiness training services to students (individually or in groups)
- Facilitate regular presentations / workshops on career-related topics and teach one or more university courses.
- Oversee career readiness resources and services for the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences (CSBS) including acting as a liaison to deans and faculty, building and maintaining relationships with key employers, promoting career readiness, facilitating focused career events, and developing job opportunities / resources for students.
- Supervise one or more student mentors or other employees.
- Other projects, committee assignments, and responsibilities as assigned

NOTE : Must be able to complete all of the following requirements within five months of hire. Candidates who do not yet meet all requirements will be temporarily hired at the E31 level (see Notes to Applicants section below) .

The annual salary for this position starts at $52,000 and may go up depending upon candidate qualifications (for those hired temporarily at the E31 level the starting salary is $45,000 and prior completion of both a bachelor's degree and two years experience are required).
