Job Summary/Basic Function
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma plus at least one year of relevant experience
- Current WSU Student
- Physically able to lift paper and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of machinery involved in printing and copy
- Serves as customer services contact for the Copy Center; explains policies and procedures and resolves issues related to Copy Center services.
- Maintain procedures for the Copy Center; provide input on departmental changes.
- Oversees production of and billing for materials at the Copy Center.
- Screens material ensures compliance with applicable copyright laws and informs faculty and staff of any copyright issues.
- Ensures proper formatting and alignment of files for print.
- Operates high volume xerographic equipment; serves as Key Operator, identifies equipment problems.
- Performs minor repairs to xerographic equipment or arranges for repair service.
- Schedules and prioritizes work assignments for Copy Center staff.
- Processes departmental billing, including chargebacks in PrintSmith
- Routes completed work orders to production locations
- Coordinates workflow with WD&P production Hub
- Orders and maintains an inventory of supplies.
- Maintains paper and plastics recycling programs for the work area.
- Supervises your self-training and works with other student employees sharing new and current skills
