Job Summary/Basic Function
Position assists in facilitating and managing operations that occur at various WSU Campus locations for the School of Nursing. Duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Facilitate running of the assigned campus lab/simulation rooms for set-up, usage, and takedown.
- Maintain lab/Simulation supplies and equipment
- Collaborate with the Lab/Simulation Operations Manager or Assistant
- Promote a safe and effective learning environment for students, faculty, and staff.
- Attend Lab/Simulation training meetings and other department meetings as necessary.
- Maintain knowledge of Audio-video recording and electronic medical records interface with lab/simulation activities.
- Participate in technical training as needed.
- Assist with maintenance of disposable inventory organization and initiate replacement/order needs.
Required Qualifications
Some college or post high school technical college education, or one year of experience working in a healthcare related field is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred:
- Certified Nursing Assistant certification
- Experience with current computer technologies and video recording systems
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Aptitude in resolving conflicts and issues.
