Job Summary/Basic Function
The Library Resource Sharing Student Assistant will serve as an important Resource Sharing Services team member by assisting with the processing of Controlled Digital Lending, Course Reserve materials, Interlibrary Loan, and Open Educational Resources. The Student Assistant will find resources and locate materials within the library, retrieve items from open and closed stack areas, scan requested materials for electronic delivery, work to make library materials more accessible to all patrons (permalinks, captioning, OCR scanning, and CDL scanning) and ILL shipping.

This position will be no more than 20 hours a week and will work on campus in the Stewart Library. The schedule can be adapted to provide those 20 hours any time Monday – Friday between 8 AM and 5 PM.

Required Qualifications
Must be a current full-time WSU student with a minimum GPA of 2.0
Preferred Qualifications
- Detail-oriented student who has experience working within a team environment and capable of meeting consistent deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures and the ability to troubleshoot issues on one’s own
