Job Summary / Basic Function
Weber State University’s Department of Visual Art & Design seeks applicants to identify and catalog the department’s collection of artworks. This hourly position will work with the Exhibitions Manager to locate and identify artworks housed within the department and on loan to other campus locations. An entry for each artwork will be created and entered in a database. Scheduling will be flexible but begin at 12-15 hrs / week during regular working hours.
Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with computer use
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to carefully handle delicate works of art

Moving about to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
Physical Requirements of this Position
Light work. Exerting up to 20 lbs of force occasionally and / or up to 10 lbs of force frequently and / or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Use of arm and / or leg controls exerting forces greater than that for sedentary work.
Visual Acuity Requirements
Required to have close visual acuity to inspect small defects and small parts at distances close to the eye.
