Summary
The Content Producer is accountable for scoping, scheduling, sourcing, overseeing, and providing hands-on support for the development of a variety of photography and video assets that help consumers choose and use Weber products. Projects cover a range of assets that support Global New Product Development Toolkits and US Marketing Campaigns and may include but are not limited to product overview videos, how-to videos, hosted talent product walkthroughs, sales training, social media, product and lifestyle photography, culinary content and more.
In this role, you will contribute strategically and tactically to lead all production activities at the Weber In-House Content Studio from concept to execution; serve as the Weber producer for external productions with outside studios; oversee day-to-day studio operations; and manage the internal DAM system.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Partner with Creative Team and other internal stakeholders to bring product storytelling to life across a wide range of media and platforms with focus on Weber-owned digital, social, video and in-store experiences
- Establish photography and video project timelines and budgets from conception to delivery, consistently tracking and clearly communicating deadlines, updates, variances, and progress
- Partner with Global Creative Project Manager and Group Creative Director to prioritize and manage projects and creative resources
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to create and manage shot lists for photo and video assets, ensuring all deliverables are met for both global and regional requirements
- Lead pre-production planning including procuring product samples; ensuring product accuracy and alignment with brand standards; assisting with product and set styling; obtaining props and accessories as needed; and consulting with culinary team for accuracy of product usage, food representation, recipes, cooking, etc.
- Source and book external talent, crew, stylists, editors, motion graphics, etc. as determined by scope of project
- Oversee shot schedules and on-set activity for internal productions, anticipating challenges, resolving issues, managing expectations, and building consensus throughout the process
- Manage post-production efforts for photography and video, including scheduling retouching, graphics/animations and editing; and routing proofs and cuts for feedback and approval
- Coordinate versioning and delivering final content in required format to project stakeholders
- Tag and upload final files to the Creative Server and Digital Asset Management System
- Serve as producer and point-of-contact for external photo/video productions, coordinating with Weber internal Weber Sourcing and Legal departments to manage contracts, budgets and POs and accounts payables
- Handle the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Content Studio, ensuring equipment is functional, and product inventory, props and set supplies are up-to-date and compliance with safety guidelines
- Serve as administrator of the Weber DAM system – providing training for users and working with vendor to design workflows, manage implementation and explore ways to improve efficiency
- Contribute to the culture of the in-house creative team, promoting a spirit of positivity and teamwork
- Demonstrate drive for continuous learning and growth, engaging in the latest production and digital technologies and platforms, social media best practices, retail innovation, culinary and lifestyle trends to raise the level of creative work and build the Weber brand
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, Communications or related field
Expertise with digital media file formats including videos, photos and PDFs
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office
- 6 year’s experience as a Content Producer at a digital marketing agency or in-house team at a leading consumer brand or retailer
- Passion for photography, video production and creative storytelling combined with a strong understanding of the processes and resources needed to execute efficiently and flawlessly
- Articulate communicator and creative problem solver with ability to speak to technical, artistic and design related topics to gain alignment with stakeholders
- Collaborative, team-oriented individual who embraces the value of working in partnership with creatives and is open-minded to and inspired by ideas and feedback from others and respectfully shares theirs in return throughout the iterative creative development process
- Organized, efficient and agile – able to meet deadlines with ease while working on multiple projects simultaneously
- High attention to detail, consistency, and accuracy
